Hail
Hail bruises shingles, cracks tile and dents metal. From the ground it usually looks fine, so the damage goes unreported until the roof starts leaking.

Know your risk
What damages roofs in Iowa
These are the storms and conditions behind most roof and property damage we see in Iowa. If one has hit your area, get the roof checked before the damage spreads.
High wind and tornadoes
Strong gusts lift and crease shingles, peel back flashing and drop trees and limbs onto the roof.
Snow, ice and ice dams
Ice dams push water back under shingles, heavy snow loads stress flat and low-slope roofs, and freeze-thaw cycles open up small cracks.
Heavy rain and flooding
Water that gets into the building has to be found and dried quickly, or it turns into mold and structural damage.

Reviews of River City Roofing Co.
River City Roofing Co. is one of our partners in Iowa. These reviews are from their customers, copied from rivercityroofs.com and River City's Google reviews.
We had a great experience with River City Roofing. I felt well-informed after my first meeting with Damien, he was helpful in picking the right colors and materials and thought of everything we needed in advance. The crew arrived on time and were very polite and efficient... They did a thorough cleanup. Great team! I highly recommend them.
Andrew and Justin made the process to get my new roof incredibly easy and were great communicators. Don't waste your time searching for anyone else as they are the best in the business!
Excellent company to work with! We were having a problem with our roof leaking. The company sent Justin Fehr to check and he was able to identify the problem and fix it on the spot! I highly recommend River City Roofing Co.
I highly recommend River City Roofing! When I contacted them about a leak they came right out, looked at my roof, measured and gave me a quote within a day. We were able to coordinate scheduling right away. Their whole crew showed up at 7:00 a.m. and they got right to work...
Don Watson was great to work with. Had a new roof and new siding installed. Roof was done in one day and siding was done in one day (separate days).
They got our new roof done in a day and did a great job with the roof as well as the cleanup. They even checked back with us at the end of the day and a week after to make sure we were satisfied!
